Ethernet Controller Driver Missing

I re-installed windows 7, and now i'm unable to connect to the internet via ethernet cable. i checked device manager and saw that i'm missing the drivers for ethernet controller.. All these replies urging us to go to a website and download an updated ethernet controller driver are useless because you can't even access the internet without the ethernet controller, unless you have a second pc already hooked up to work with the internet, then make a copy of the ethernet driver, and then copy it onto the original pc to get it acces the intenet.. I have an inspiron 1300 - me051. i have had to use the recovery cd's and the bcm4309 802.11a/b/g controller driver is missing. i have been all over dells website and to driversguide..
