Low volume on my realtek acer laptop. jan 18. thanks for the tip, i have a acer 3820tg and i had very low sound. i just edited the option “limited output” and i got like 50% increase of sound level. the limited output box was in that same properties box you wrote about.. Hello everyoen...i purchased an acer aspire e1-531-2801 lap top last summer. from the first time i used my new lap top i realized the speakers sound was very low and even when the volume was set to the maxium the sound is still not very loud.. Sound too low on acer aspire one---turned up to maximum, but still to quiet watching everything except skype, where sound ok..

One serious point of frustration that i understand may be common on acer laptops is that the audio output is extremely low. like really low. like really low. think of quiet, and imagine it quieter than that..
